Eligibility Checker

Your Bus is open to residents across Cheshire West and Chester who find it difficult to use conventional public transport, for any reason. We have set out some guidance below, but if you are not sure whether you qualify, please just give us a call. We would much rather have a conversation than have you miss out on a service that could really help you. You are automatically eligible if you fit any of the below criterias:

Aged 80 or over

If you are aged 80 or above, you are automatically eligible for YourBus. No further evidence or documentation is required. Simply register and book.

You are supported through benefits

If you are in receipt of any benefits from the government, this could include, Universal Credit, Pension Credit, disability payments (PIP, DLA, Attendance Allowance) etc.

Mobility issues make it difficult to travel

If a health condition prevents you from safely or practically using conventional public transport (standard bus or train services), you are eligible. This covers a wide range of physical and mental disabilities.

Difficulty accessing transport in your area

This could mean anything from having no bus stop nearby, to services not running at the right times, to needing too many changes to get where you need to go.  If public transport simply doesn't work for your situation, we can help.

Not sure if you qualify?

Give us a call and we'll talk it through with you. There's no pressure and no judgement, we want to help as many people as possible.
